(2011) Ageing and the use of the internet - current engagement and future needs

in Reviews
Professor Christine Milligan & Dr Don Passey, Lancaster University, UK

Report, commissioned by the Nominet Trust, which aims to bring together a state of the art evidence base to detail understanding and current knowledge of older people and their engagement with, and uses of, the internet. The report considers the challenges and benefits of internet usage by older people, and looks at barriers to access as well as how these might be addressed. It focuses on practice and evidence from the UK, but research from the wider European Union is also referred to, as is research evidence or useful examples from other countries.
